Become a confident watercolor artist in hours.

TAKE A LOOK

Learn step-by-step how to paint 9 watercolor projects, each focusing on a different piece of architecture.

There’s something about architecture that calls to you.

The charm of old houses. The glow of windows at dusk. The shadows stretching across brick walls.
The character in rooftops and doorways.

You want to capture that. You want to be the kind of artist who can paint both loose and structured subjects.

You Love Watercolor… But Architecture Feels Like a Different Language

Sound familiar?

I'm Ready to Learn

You want to look at a building and think: “I know how to paint that.”

You want confidence.

You want versatility.

But right now?

There’s a gap between where you are… and where you want to be.

And that gap feels frustrating.

Right now, maybe architecture feels intimidating.

The straight lines.
The perspective.
The tiny windows and intricate details.
The fear of “messing it up.”

But imagine this instead…

You sit down with your watercolor palette.
You lightly sketch your structure.
You know exactly where the shadows go.
You understand how the light hits the roofline.
You confidently layer washes without muddying your colors.

And instead of anxiety?

You feel calm. Focused. Capable.

Because you’re not guessing anymore.

You’re following a method.

This course isn’t just 9 tutorials.

It’s 9 breakthrough moments.

9 times you’ll say,
“Ohhhh… THAT’S how you do it.”

Each one building your confidence.
Each one stretching your skills.
Each one proving to you that you *can* paint architecture beautifully.

This Is Where You Stop Avoiding Architecture — And Start Mastering It

i'm ready

This is the turning point

Think about this...

You can keep avoiding architecture because it feels hard.

Or you can decide that this is the season you grow.

The season you stretch. The season you become the artist who can paint anything.

I've created a course to take you from overwhelmed to empowered — step by step, brushstroke by brushstroke.

Introducing: The Modern Calligraphy Vault

Time to level up

Oh hey there! I’m Carlee. I’m a faith-based entrepreneur and I love Jesus and creating with the talents He has given me. My art journey started with a few art lessons when I was young. For my birthday one year, my parents bought me a watercolor book that taught you how to paint with watercolor in 30 days. Not all my paintings turned out when I first started, but over the years my skills have grown, and watercolor is one of my favorite art mediums. I love that it's a simple creative outlet that allows you to step back from your busy life and relax. I'm passionate about helping other people learn how to paint with watercolor, so I've taken my skills and created an online course so I can help people like you learn to create paintings that you're proud of.

True Transformation

The charm of old houses. The glow of windows at dusk. The shadows stretching across brick walls. The character in rooftops and doorways. How watercolor works

WHAT WE COVER

We're going to dive right in to the basics by learning what exactly watercolor is, the supplies you'll need, how to set up a creative space to paint, and more.

Getting Started

Unit 1

Basic watercolor techniques

Tracing your outlines

Drawing techniques

WHAT WE COVER

Now that you know what  you need to create, we're going to learn how  those tools work by focusing on basic watercolor techniques and how to mix colors. Not only will you learn to paint, but you'll also learn how to create pencil sketches of each project. However, if drawing isn't your thing, I've included traceable outlines for each project.

Basic Art Techniques

Unit 2

Adding plants to the landscape

Painting shingles

Creating your first sketch

WHAT WE COVER

Now we're ready for our first project!! Don't worry, this one starts off simple, but allows you to feel accomplished at the same time. We're going to learn how to paint our first textures and you'll walk away with a cute cottage piece that's ready to hang in your home.

Project 1: Simple Cottage

Unit 3

Creating window pane detail

How to paint siding

WHAT WE COVER

We're taking a step up and creating a piece that is slightly more detailed than the last. We'll have our first lesson in perspective, learn how to paint siding, and discover my trick for adding thin window pane lines.

Project 2: Winter Cabin

Module 4

Perspective with stairs

Drawing an iron fence

Painting bricks

WHAT WE COVER

Our next project is a French apartment facade. I loved creating this project because of the cute bike and the fun textures! Speaking of textures, we'll be learning how to create bricks for the first time, how to draw details like bicycle spokes and an iron fence, and more.

Project 3: French Apartment

Module 5

Detailed bricks

Resizing your sketch

Adding white window pane lines

WHAT WE COVER

We're moving right along and we've come to our first house portrait! This project will show you how to create light window panes on a dark background. how to add bushes to the landscape, and a more detailed way of adding bricks. We'll also learn how to resize our sketch if we drew it too big so it fits better on our watercolor paper.

Project 4: House Portrait

Module 6

How to guess at the reference

Painting large portions of bricks

WHAT WE COVER

This project takes a little bit more time, but don't let that overwhelm you! It is such a satisfying painting to complete and the bricks look soooo good. We'll also practice guessing at what's in the reference when objects are in the way (in this case it was a tree!).

Project 5: Subdivision Home

Module 7

Adding tiny details

Simplifying references

How to paint ivy

WHAT WE COVER

One of the reasons I chose this project for the course was because of the bright color palette! It's fun to change things up a bit when a lot of architecture has muted colors. We're also going to learn how to simplify references (you really don't have to add everything you see in the photo) and how to add tiny details, including ivy on the wall.

Project 6: Colorful Apartments

Module 8

Adding pavement tiles to the ground

Painting flowers

Drawing from a different angle than the reference

WHAT WE COVER

We're getting a little more advanced with this project--we're learning how to paint something at a different angle than the reference shows (!!!). I'll break it down step by step for you so you'll realize it's not as impossible as you might think.

Project 7: French Flower Shop

Module 9

Painting white on white paper

Making small changes to the reference

Drawing more windows and straight lines

WHAT WE COVER

This house portrait is somewhat advanced, but it's such good practice to draw all the windows and lines. We're also going to learn how to change the reference to make things a little easier, and how to mimic a white color while painting on white paper.

Project 8: Large House

Module 10

Painting large amounts of plants

Drawing from an angle

WHAT WE COVER

We've come to the last project in the course, and this one is the most advanced. We're drawing and painting a building from an angle for the first time, compared to all the other projects that were straight on. We'll be painting a lot of bricks and plants, while using the skills we've acquired throughout the course. This is actually my favorite project of the whole course!

Project 9: Advanced Architecture

Module 11

How to continue painting beyond the course

Flattening your watercolor paintings

WHAT WE COVER

I want to ensure you are all set to start creating on your own, which is why I've dedicated the last unit to stepping out beyond the course. We'll also learn how to flatten all those paintings you created so they're ready to frame!

Beyond the Course

Module 12

Watercolor swatch sheet

Traceable outline

Reference photo

Each project tutorial is supplemented with a PDF project workbook with a reference photo (so you can add any details with your unique artistic expression), a traceable outline (if sketching things out is not your thing), and a watercolor swatch sheet (so you know the exact colors I used for the project).

Take a look inside the course...

I launched a modern calligraphy program and am expanding the services that I offer.

2025: Adding Calligraphy

I joined an online art internship where I learned the method behind online teaching, both live and prerecorded classes.

2023: Internship

I wanted to find a way to share my art and calligraphy with people, so I launched an Etsy shop selling clipart and wall prints. I eventually left Etsy and started focusing on teaching online courses and private art lessons.

2022: Starting to Share

My family bought me a calligraphy kit and workbook and I taught myself to do hand lettering. I had discovered another art form that I loved!

2018: My Calligraphy Journey Began

When I was 9 years old my parents signed me up for art lessons as an extra-curricular activity. I absolutely fell in love with art and have loved it ever since!

My journey

2016: My Art Journey Began

From my early days as an entrepreneur to helping women create Scripture prints for their home, each moment represents the journey I took to get here.

Are you holding back because of:

This isn't designed as another course to “keep up with,” but as a fun, creative space you can come back to — again and again — to learn, practice, and create in a way that feels peaceful and doable, while decompressing from "all the things".

"i have so much going on, i don't need one more thing."

The program is self-paced and you get lifetime access. So even if you're in a busier season of life, you can work through the course on your own schedule.

"i don't have the time to create"

If you don't do it now, when will you? Stop dreaming and start doing. This is your time to create beautiful paintings just like what you see on Instagram.

"This isn't the right time"

Time

The problem with

Mastering a skill doesn't happen overnight. Everyone has to start somewhere. As Ralph Waldo Emerson says, "Every artist was first an amateur." Don't put unrealistic expectations on yourself or compare yourself to others. This is meant to be fun, not a competition!

"I don't think i'll ever be as good as the people I see"

The course is self-paced and you get lifetime access, which means you have all the time in the world to go through it!

"I'm a slow learner, it'll take me too long to complete"

You'll never know if you don't try! And believe me, I did not start off being amazing at art. There's also a community space inside the course that allows other artists just like you to share their work and get critique and encouragement.

"what if i'm not any good at this?"

Fear of Failure

Overcoming

Waiting to buy opens up to distractions and not following through. Remember, you don't want watercolor to become another thing you almost did.

"i'm going to save up and buy it later"

To put things in perspective, it comes to about $7/video, plus you get the workbooks, lifetime access, the community, and the bonuses. And who knows? You could make money from your new skill. Custom house paintings are typically priced from around $100-500!!

"it's too expensive"

You can have a weekend getaway or a skill to last you a lifetime--investing in yourself is always worth it. And a $5-7 specialty Starbucks drink every day adds up.

"i don't have the money"
