Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing accurate and timely information, images, written content, brand materials, login credentials, approvals, and other materials necessary to complete the project.
You are responsible for ensuring that any content, images, logos, fonts, testimonials, or other materials you provide are legally permitted for use on your website. Earth + Sky Studio is not responsible for copyright, trademark, licensing, privacy, accessibility, or other legal issues arising from materials supplied by the client.
Website Content & Legal Compliance
Unless otherwise agreed upon, the client is responsible for providing or approving website copy and ensuring that the final website meets the legal requirements applicable to their business.
This may include, but is not limited to, privacy policies, terms and conditions, disclaimers, cookie notices, accessibility requirements, industry-specific disclosures, and other legally required notices.
Earth + Sky Studio does not provide legal advice. If you are unsure what legal policies or disclosures your business requires, you should consult a qualified attorney or other appropriate professional.
Third-Party Services
Websites may rely on third-party platforms, plugins, hosting providers, domain registrars, payment processors, email marketing services, fonts, applications, or other technologies. Earth + Sky Studio does not control these third-party services and cannot guarantee their continued availability, functionality, pricing, security, or compatibility.
Any third-party fees or subscriptions required for your website are the responsibility of the client unless otherwise stated in writing.
Project Scope & Revisions
Services included in a project will be outlined in the applicable proposal, package, or service agreement. Requests outside the agreed-upon scope may require additional fees.
The number of revisions included in a project will be determined by the selected service package or agreement. Additional revisions, pages, features, or functionality may be billed separately.
Payments & Cancellation
Payment terms, deposits, project timelines, cancellation policies, and ownership rights will be outlined in the client’s service agreement or proposal.
Work may be paused or delayed if required information, feedback, approvals, or payments are not received in a timely manner.
Website Ownership & Portfolio Use
Unless otherwise specified in writing, final website designs and deliverables will be transferred to the client according to the terms outlined in the service agreement once all outstanding balances have been paid.
Earth + Sky Studio reserves the right to display completed work in its portfolio, website, social media, and other promotional materials unless a separate confidentiality agreement has been established.
No Guarantee of Search Engine Results
Website design and SEO best practices can help create a strong foundation for search visibility, but Earth + Sky Studio does not guarantee specific Google rankings, website traffic, leads, sales, or other search engine results.
Search engines and third-party platforms frequently change their algorithms, policies, and requirements, which may affect website performance.
Agreement to Terms
By purchasing or engaging Earth + Sky Studio for web design services, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agreed to the applicable service agreement, proposal, payment terms, and policies provided for your project.
